The Lebron shit fest just has to stop. He's the best player point blank regardless of the last 3 weeks. He just happens to be the best incomplete player in the game today and maybe all time.

the fact that dirk is showing up 1/2 just goes to show how some people are controlled by knee-jerk reactions.

Skip "Doing the Research" Bayless needs to shut the fuck up. His gimmick is played out.

Skips list looks to be based more on objectivity and staying consistent with what he says and how he's always felt.....Rob Parkers list looks to be based on who his favorites are at the moment...

1) Dwight
2) Wade
3) Rose/Paul - to me they're interchangeable...these dudes straight up don't give a fuck how big you are.
4) Lebron - his mental toughness knocks him from #2, possibly even #1
5) Kobe

Points of interest:
- I respect dirk, but I've always wondered if his ability was a result of his athletic talent, or that no PF (beside KG yrs ago) can guard on the perimeter. Not to mention he's a defensive liability. U can't be in the top 5 if you are a liability.
- So this liability role extends to Melo and Durant who are both pure scorers and lock down defenders "on the last possession of games"

i disagree

rob´s playlist looks more like who carried his team and stepped his game up during the playoffs

people are thinking : best player equals talented player

Lebron is the most talented player along with wade and kobe but this year Dirk proved to be the best

Since when has Dirk been athletic?

You're reading into it to much as if I'm saying he runs a 4.3 40. Being able to drop 40 points or shoot while doing the limbo is athletic talent. If the word athletic is throwing you off my fault lol

So when I say athletic talent its congruent with saying better than others.

So the sentence should read out, "but I've always wondered if Dirk was good or just better than the competition which sucks at defending anyone on the perimeter."

To say Dirk at this point NOW doesn't have an incredibly complete offense is foolish. In 06 he was criticized for not being able to go to his left, no post game, no go to moves, not clutch, soft. In 11 Dirk won a game in the finals going to his left, can post you up now as well as just stand up and drop a J in your face, averaged 10 ppg in the 4th quarter(Mike Jordan like), and played through a fucked up finger and a flu. I agree with you on defense Dirk can be a liability, I think Dirk could play better defense if he tried but the zone defense suits his play style better honestly. Also rebounding wise Dirk will get rebounds but he just isn't going to dominate the paint for them.

As far as his comp I mean is it's Dirk's fault that his style of offense is unguardable. I think that's more of a lack of being able to adjust more than he's just that much better than his opponents. Dirk is cold but honestly he plays like a sg/sf in a pf/c body, no 7 footer has any business doing some of the shit he does but he does it. I think honestly he should be given credit for bringing a new aspect to the pf position in that you dont have to be a post player to win and succeed.

Ok, I'ma walk you through it, why is Dirks style of offense unguardable?

His height I know that but the point is even players of similar size to Dirk can't throw him off his game they all struggle to guard him. Plus he works on his shot 24/7 to the point where it's damn near automatic. Just saying can't disrespect his work ethic. We can continue this later though I got work at 5.
