Halloween, The Thing, The Fog and Prince of Darkness is Carpenter's quadrology of 80s horror and some of the best in the genre.

His diversity was so sick during his prime 4 of the major horror subgenres (slasher, sci-fi, ghost story, demon story) got covered with those 4 immaculately. We still haven't seen another horror filmmaker display that kind of range within the genre since.

I got a lot. The top 2 in my list are movies that traumatized me as a child. I enjoy a good horror movie. Horror is a genre for me that seems to have a lot more bad movies than good movies. But when they're good they're really good.

Still gotta checkout that sleepaway camp movie.

Just binge watched the entire Phantasm movie series. From 1-5, I'd say Phantasm 1 and 2 are the best. Phantasm 5 (Ravager) is better of the past movies. The issue with this series was production, I don't know how or why they weren't able to get a budget for the future releases. The producers must not have wanted to give up the rights to Hollywood and have them destroy it.

Brilliant premise and definitely a spooky series.

Tall Man one of the most underrated horror movie villains.
