Watched Pet Cemetery last night. Shit creeped me out all over again. Had me looking at them cats with a side eye this morning when I was feeding them.

That fucking kid bro. Made me suspicious of every white toddler I came across for years.

Watched Tales from the Hood over the weekend. Flick has a special place in my heart. The Thing and Demon Knight always get watched whenever they come on.

The Thing is godly. I love that movie.

Halloween, The Thing, The Fog and Prince of Darkness is Carpenter's quadrology of 80s horror and some of the best in the genre.

His diversity was so sick during his prime 4 of the major horror subgenres (slasher, sci-fi, ghost story, demon story) got covered with those 4 immaculately. We still haven't seen another horror filmmaker display that kind of range within the genre since.

I fucking hate that crazy bitch in pet semetary. Scene where kid cuts dudes achilles tendon makes me cringe too lol that shit would be so painful

Watching Misery right now, so creepy to see the escalation of Kathy Bates character.

Single women in remote places ain't to be trusted.

Bet she got that good pussy though lmao.

I got a lot. The top 2 in my list are movies that traumatized me as a child. I enjoy a good horror movie. Horror is a genre for me that seems to have a lot more bad movies than good movies. But when they're good they're really good.

IT

Candyman

Nightmare on Elm Street Series

Halloween Series (skip 3, 5 was the last decent one)

Rob Zombies Halloween

Pet Semetary

The Strangers

Babadook

Quarantine

The Shining

Cannibal Holocaust

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake with jessica biel wasnt bad imo, nor was TCM "The Beginning" i enjoyed them both)

First few Friday The 13th films

VHS 1 and 2

House of The Devil

The Exorcist

Hellraiser

The Puppetmaster

Cant really think of anymore but ill name them as i remember

I would like to add:

The Babadook (one of the best horror films to come out in recent years)

I dunno if i would call it horror, maybe thriller, but there is a movie called "Would You Rather?" on Netlix that was pretty good and fucked up.

Skeleton Key - Saw this on some peoples lists and checked it out a few months ago, that was pretty good.

Still gotta checkout that sleepaway camp movie.

Bringing this back for the 2017 !!!

Just binge watched the entire Phantasm movie series. From 1-5, I'd say Phantasm 1 and 2 are the best. Phantasm 5 (Ravager) is better of the past movies. The issue with this series was production, I don't know how or why they weren't able to get a budget for the future releases. The producers must not have wanted to give up the rights to Hollywood and have them destroy it.

Brilliant premise and definitely a spooky series.

Tall Man one of the most underrated horror movie villains.

I liked it but it was mismarketed as supernatural horror when it was psychological. I think the fact that the son was an obnoxious handful helped it's bottom line.
