Definitely wanted to fuse elements from cool jazz, acid, retro RnB, with current elements of today's urban cultural sound. And I listen to everything, Flying Lotus, Little Dragon, Monte Booker, TokiMonsta, Fela Kuti, Dirty Projectors, Solange and Sampha, Kelela, etc.

I wanted to created this project based on a idea of what would a playlist sounds like if Basquiat, Sun Ra, Chet Baker, Future and Lil Pump all sat in a room and discussed ideas.

And yes the interlude was about Basquiat
