*dead* @ good kid, terrible album

this Jewnegro on some Gucci Mane shit, he don't give a fuck

as far as Kendrick Lamar, the little coon sucks....ol' boring ass cornball, he's so wack he could be a replacement for the Pharcyde

It's so fitting that all the niggas that are spewing nonsense on this album have SHYNE as their flag-bearer ......oh so fitting ...lol

I like Kendrick, but......his is not the savior of hip-hop and I haven't seen a rapper this gassed up in awhile atleast on the internet. I guess desperate times peoples judgements are blury. Kind of like when you get no booty and you gave in to a girl you thought was a 5 or 6 and had potential, but after boning her and seeing her around you realize she is a 3 with stretch marks and no personality. Kendricks nice, but he ain't that nice. I only listened to one song on his album so I will see if this album truly is mind blowing or not atleast IMO

Shyne explains why he doesn't like Kendrick Lamar's "good kid, m.A.A.d city."

Last night, Shyne took to Twitter to state that he thought Kendrick Lamar has talent but that good kid, m.A.A.d city is "trash." Clarifying his standpoint during an interview with the Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg show, the former Bad Boy rapper explained that he feels K. Dot was fed into the hype machine but that he failed to deliver on his promise.

"I ain't starting no trouble. Listen, y'all live in the United States of America. We don't live in the United States of Aftermath, Jimmy Iovine doesn't pay me, I can say whatever I want," said Shyne. "I'm not talking reckless. I said the young boy got potential and I said he was talented, but the album is trash. That's tough love.

"What I said wasn't not nice, I didn't attack him as an individual, I didn't say anything disrespectful," he continued. "It's trash! I don't really listen to these rappers, but I heard him on a few joints and I was like, shorty's nice. ... So when he was coming out with an album, I was like, I'ma hear more of that."

Po went on to explain that he wasn't feeling the production on the project, and that he'd rather hear a spoken word album if that's the route he wanted to take. "Beats is trash, number one. And once your beats are trash, you're finished because you can't handle a good flow. I don't really want to hear what you gotta say. I'll go buy Dr. Cornel West's album if I want to hear someone talk."

He said that he felt a responsibility to be honest about his opinion because he didn't want Kendrick to drink his own Kool-Aid. "I feel bad for him because everybody's gassing him right now, everyone's on him. He on fire because of that Interscope machine, he's on fire because of that Dr. Dre machine. He's nice, but that's a lot of hype. All I'm saying is, to show y'all I'm not a hater, 50 [Cent] delivered. I never had nothing positive to say about him, but he delivered. He lived up to the hype."

no one thinks (or should think) kendrick is the savior from rap, but his album is far from trash

who knew shyne would rely on hoe antics after diddy put him on danity kane status

"All I'm saying is, to show y'all I'm not a hater, 50 [Cent] delivered. I never had nothing positive to say about him, but he delivered. He lived up to the hype."

So basically, he hatin on this nigga because his album wasn't strictly "aggressive content." I hope his bitch ass paid for GKMC while he's complaining...

Always backlash when a rapper is hyped or talked about as bein so "great" too much. There's a thin line but you cant overdo it. Especially if people expect the greatest thing but it cant match the hype. It makes people say "f-ck that". Guess this is something you learn.

Shyne had a lil heat here and there in 2004, but yeah, he's trash in 2012.

Yayo in 2012 >>> Shyne in 2012.

That's when it gets really bad, lol

that means Shyne lightyears away from relevancy

I got a feeling this is a publicity stunt by Shyne. Come on now, All these young money clowns, this Rick Rauce garbage, half of these 2 chains joints and gucci all came out but yet He Picks Kendric to mess with? Nigga not stupid, he watched the BET awards and saw K.Dot was all over that mothafucka, and probably realized that's who he has to diss, the most popular rapper in america right now so Shyne can associate himself with the buzz and Shine (for lack of a better word, no pun indended) via positive or negative. I got a feeling Shyne wants some diss songs back n forth to come outta this. He better not fuck wit Jay Rock tho, That nigga will make it an off wax thing.

Its his opinion, even tho i strongly disagree.

However what he said about the Interscope/Dre machine is true. Im a guy who been rocking with Kendrick and Jay Rock since 2006 and even when i used to post about them here around 2007-2008 alot of you niggas used to dismiss them and the new cats on the West. Now within a few years cuz Kendrick blew up yall start talking the West coming back strong, like alot of these newer artists wasnt around a few years ago when yall choose not to listen.

Same thing in the industry. Aint like Kendrick was completely unknown prior to this. Dude was around doing songs and shows with Game, Lil Wayne and many more and people in the industry still didnt give a fuck.

That Interscope/Dre machine is probably the most powerful machine in the hip-hop industry. Whenever an artist signs to Dre especially notice how about 90% of their interviews is about Dre? Yup..
