Should President Obama Attend Trump's Inauguration?

Considering that he would be bearing witness to the ushering in of an presidency that is would be the biggest victory racism and white supremacy in the past 50 years, Obama should show he has some sort of dignity and not attend that fuckery should Trump be elected president. His absence at a Trump inauguration would send a powerful message and is without historical precedent considering that John Adams didn't attend Thomas Jefferson's inauguration.

Finally, on March 4, 1801, in the early morning hours of Jefferson’s Inauguration Day, Adams’s coach drew up to the door of the White House, with several wagons of packed furnishings behind. Even before sunrise, Adams was headed northward, back to Massachusetts, leaving the inaugural ceremonies and the White House to Jefferson.

It would be cool to see Obama give those racist fucks one last thing to be mad about as he resumes his life as a private citizen. If he did that shit, those muthafuckas would talk about that shit for last two weeks into a Trump presidency.

Of course they are.

Just like how dude had negative things to say about bush while going through elections, after being elected he had nothing but praise for the man.

These people shake hands and fuck eachothers wives while the cameras arent rolling. Its WWE.

No. It's not a constitutional requirement that presidents attend their successor's inauguration. It's just one of those traditions presidential traditions that's been in existence since forever kinda like saying "so help me God," after the oath of office is administered.

Should this unlikely happen, Obeezie shouldn't go, but he will.

He's gonna be as classy as possible with his legacy, and he wouldn't want the last memory of him as president to be skipping out on passing the torch to the new pres...no matter how big a racist douchedick that guy is.

I doubt he's all that concerned about Trump in that way. Hillary though....is hated by Michelle, people forget that. They playing nice right now but don't forget Hillary was froze out of the VP slot, and banished away from the healthcare bill. I doubt Obama is happy with all the shit she caused as Sec. of state either. Hi admin wanted helped for the Benghazi situation, and the state dept dropped the ball. Hill is the one who pushed Libya. LOL, one has to wonder how different Obama's years would have been if he picked someone else for SoS.

If he'd be a coon for attending the inauguration of that racist fuck, what would the people that voted him in (by way of voting for him, not voting, or throwing their votes away on 3rd party candidates) be??

I will never understand the bolded.

People would let this Bigoted excuse for a man become the leader of the free world ... because their favorite candidate is not the alternative ...

Most stubborn, impulsive, emotional shit I have ever heard.

Like getting your family killed by an oncoming mac truck because

"But, but ... I had the right of way" ass niggas

When Barry made her SoS I knew he messed up on that part, he should be lucky he didn't go with his advisors initial recommendation and appoint her to the next available Supreme Court vacancy. The pros of having her on the Supreme Court (he wouldn't have to worry about her trying to run again in 2008 or 2016 so that Biden could run if he decided to) were outweighed by the cons (Clinton baggage). He should have appointed her to a cabinet position that wouldn't have much of an impact if she messed that up because SoS is a high visibility position. Once she got that position her and Bill were determined to run it the way they saw fit because they were using it as a springboard for her 2016 presidential run.

Also, I think its really personal with the level of disdain that Barack and Michelle have for Trump so I can see them not going to the inauguration. You can tell Michelle's body language that she wants to go off / stay away from politicians who went after her husband (like the dinner with John Boehner, Hillary and Bill, etc)

Won't be no trump inauguration, but yea he should. It's part of being president.

America was racist before him and will be after. According to yall I guess he never shoulda ran in the first place because of that.

Obama will attend out of respect for democracy. One thing he has been pretty steadfast on preaching throughout his 8 years.

But if he was a real man, and not the coward shill we know he is, then he wouldnt go. Obama is a multimillionaire with nothing but sunshine and roses in front of him until he dies, and he wont stand for shit. We know who he works for. Hes a coward, and a trick for corporations and elites.

Michelle is the only real G in that family. Praise that beautiful chocolate woman, who has to deal with this dummies nonsense, and hack pseudo comedic writers calling him a nigga at his own shit. Obama is a dick sucker.

I've read the Constitution several times plus it was part of the curriculum in 8th grade history and it doesn't say anywhere in Article II that going to your successor's inguaration is a part of the presidency. Just like the president doesn't have to appear at before a joint session of Congress to give the State of the Union. Presidents going to their successors inaugurations is just a 202 year old tradition that should be broken as a matter of g.p. if Trump is elected president.
