U watching too much CSI! He did it. Everyone knows he did. E panicked and shot her. When she came threw that PNC back door she didn't have a chance. He was the lookout; Canty was the grabber of cash; Steady B was a block away in the getaway car. Plus, this wasn't the first bank they robbed.

Philadelphia Rap Icon Cool C To Be Executed In January

Cool C, who was given the death penalty for killing a police officer in 1996, has been given a date for his execution.

Cool C has spent the last 18 years in prison following a 1996 murder conviction. The Philadelphia rap legend was given the death penalty when he was found guilty for the murder of of police officer Lauretha Vaird in a robbery attempt assisted by Steady B, a fellow member of his rap group, C.E.B.

The rapper was initially scheduled to be given a lethal injection on March 9, 2006, but the governor of Pensylvania granted a delay on the execution. Cool C has now been issued a new date. His execution will now take place on January 8th 2015.

Cool C was best known for his Juice Crew diss track, and "The Glamorous Life" as a solo artist.

Aw, damn.

But, you killed a pig in uniform. You knew the rules.

Cosign the execution. Rapper or not, you can't rob a bank and shoot a police officer trying to get away.

The death penalty almost always applies to people who are guilty of murder while committing a felony.

Oh whoa, this is crazy. I'm not totally against the death penalty, but at the same time I feel he shouldn't get executed. I wonder how Steady B is holding up. :-S

Steady B snitched

Either you're misinformed, or just wanna toss the word snitch in the air, but Steady B did not snitch. Steady B's wife testified that all 3 of them were back at her apartment discussing what went down, & all their actions while they watched the news report.

Grant him clemency

I'd agree with that if he was doing some good like a Tookie Williams, but he has yet to even acknowledge his role in this shit, or apologize to the family. He's shown no remorse, & is still pleading that "I'm innocent" bullshit that most hood niggas plead when they get caught fuckin' up (C-Murder, Max B, etc), even tho there's overwhelming evidence he DID the shit. I bet if you ask this nigga he prolly tell you he gonna touch the town in 6 months on an appeal (delusional).

I say let the cop's family decide what justice should be carried out. If they found it in their hearts to forgive & let him live, I'd be fine. If they want him whacked up with death fluid, I'd understand that too.

I'm just saying, that nigga STILL think he gonna "touch the town in a few months on appeal"....he said that shit 3 yrs ago. The Grand Cru done went from chilled, to fever hot waitin' on that nigga.

I believe the cop he killed was a single mother

Also heard Steady B testified against him... but like other poster said i could be Steadys wife but i thought there was laws against wifes testifying against husbands.

There are some on deathrow who are actually innocent tho so idk

If someone killed my family i would want them dead and iwould like to perform the execution

Yeah, the cop he killed was a female officer with a child.

I've also heard that Steady B testified against him. Basically pleading guilty for a lesser charge. The way the law works is if three people agree to rob a bank, if one of them kills somebody during the robbery all three of them can be charged for the murder, it's called "transferred intent". If Steady B didn't plead out he could/would have been charged with murder too.

In the end, Steady B got a long ass sentence but he'll eventually get out because he cooperated with police.

Cool C gets the death penalty because he denied it, took it to trial and a jury found him guilty. There were witnesses(Steady B) video tape and forensics that prove he did it.
