Well, I don't know about all that, but as a die hard advocate of free speech I would have preferred that he had not withdrawn the song, although the pressure was enormous and the point had already been made. In any case, Ross has never offered anything approaching comparable social commentary or given any indication that he has a message beyond: get money and cavity search prisoners for $22 an hour
