Nintendo has always been what it is... NINTENDO. If it was to put to have games like the PS3 and 360 it'd just be another one of the same. It holds its own as a different because it has such kiddy games, and really isn't all that bad. Mad World is mad cool, and the Mario games, well some of 'em are getting played out with all this Mario golf, bowling or whatever. But the originals, Mario Kart, Galaxy, and the New Super Mario Bros Wii is all some dope ass gaming. I think the whole motion control is perfect but ONLY for the WII. If they can drop fun games for older ages but still maintain their Wii basis then Wii would be a serious contender. It's only big due to it's whole fitness thing, which isn't half bad but not my bowl of soup. I don't understand how Nintendo fell off though Sym_, they've done this motion control shit, which is great for the Wii only though. Nintendo still doing it big and will continue to do so. They'll just never reach a huge PS3 or 360 audience until they can step up the games a bit more.

Seeing as how the Wii is utterly destroying both the PS3 and the 360 in terms of units sold, I doubt Nintendo is gonna even attempt to compete with Sony and MS for that audience anymore. The next Nintendo console is gonna follow the same hook as the Wii: it's most likely gonna be behind technically, but it's going to be cheap to make, cheaper than the competition, and have a gimmick the others don't.
