No idea. The Veronica Mars movie got kickstarted and the money went the Warner Bros.

I remember I played shenmue II on xbox.

I think I was too young to appreciate it because I thought it was boring as hell lol

I wanted to enjoy it but being a 10-11 year old it was damn near impossible

with games like GTA 3, Halo, FFX, Max Payne, Vice City, Kingdom Hearts etc being out

Yu Suzuki has stated many times over that he could get the Shenmue license from Sega. Earlier this year Sega's Shenmue trademark in North America expired.
