I had the same reservations about listening to Drake, but on a road trip I popped in "Comeback Season" and I was very impressed. His flow and lyrics are in point. Haters r gonna hate, but dude has skillz.
honestly if you haven't listened to him by now then don't even bother. You aint really missing anything. Its not like his music is going to change your life or how you view music and hip hop in general. You will just say oh its aight but I don't get what the hype is.
