I always appreciated how he was trying to push the limits with wordplay and originality though you could only listen to one or two of dude's songs in a row.
I liked what he did with the song Ghetto Vampire the way it kept switching up the beat and rhyme flow:
I just listened to that track. I guess you have to be in a certain kinda mood, or maybe you have to be in a certain place in your life to appreciate that kinda music.
Personally, I think that style is wack. Nas, Common, Mos Def, Black Thought are good at pushing the envelope lyrically while still making music thats easy to digest. Chino, Canibus and Killah Priest never mastered the art of making music that people want to hear.
