Was at Gallaudet University in D.C. ......freshman year, was just coming out of Algebra class......a friend who was from NYC started panicking..and I ask him what was wrong, he said we need to look at the TV...so we look, keep in mind this was like 9 am, the first plane had already hit...so everybody at this point thought it was an accident, soon as the Pentagon and the 2nd tower got hit, we knew shit got real.........the Provost's office on campus is on the highest hill (Gallaudet itself is on the highest hill in D.C.) .......so students were rushing to go to the Provost's office to look out her window across the Potomac and saw smoke rising from the Pentagon.......I had the sense to somehow email my mom (if I had use a TTY for Voice Relay on the phone, I would had never got ahold of her , the phones were clogged).........in about hour two and three right after 9 am , Tanks were already rollling in D.C. .........................shit was SHUT DOWN with the quickness. You could COME IN D.C., but you couldn't leave DC. Gally (Gallaudet) locked all the fences and made the students stayed there on campus. Shit was unreal that day.......painful too because many friends/students were from NYC and had family and friends working at the WTC plus some had friends who worked @ the Pentagon. ...

A week or so later when I was traveling with the Mens Basketball team (I was the film guy, filming the game tape) .........we drove past the Pentagon, they had some big muthafucking turret guns or some shit and even more tanks.....also saw the hole on the side of the Pentagon, shit was sad to see...........

later on during X-mas break, I went back home to Mississippi, to get back to normalcy sort off...but folks there down South were pissin me off because they were making light or didn't care about what happen.....I like damn , do you fools realize the magnitude of the shit that just happen on 9/11............

10th grade, on the bus on the way to school, breaking news interrupts the hot song of the month making me mad as fuck, I had no idea what the WTC's were at the time so I'm like WHAT? Get to school, eat, get to class and the teacher said this, "sit your asses down, shut the fuck up, you're witnessing history". What he had said had us shocked as fuck, then to see what was on the tv, day was done, that's all that anyone talked about and watched in all the classes. Get home, watched it collapse over and over and over and over.

And you guys who think it was an inside job, STFU, stop watching youtube and loose change and 9/11 Mysteries and whatever else you think is undeniable evidence and actually look up shit for yourselves. These conspiracies are seriously clouding up and fucking up a lot of shit, even other CT are embarrassed by some of these "9/11 Truthers".

you must under the age of 4...cuz psychologist say you can't remember significant events when ur that young.

Nah, I was in my teens at that time. I'm not sure if I heard about it and just forgot or if I completely missed it. I guess its one of those things that seems like a big deal at the time, but its really nothing; like bird-flu or Elian Gonzalez.

I was in middle school..Never had heard of the WTC before.. I woke up to the news of a fire at the WTC, then a few minutes later it came on that it was a plane.. a second plane hit.. I was eating cereal watching the news with my dad.. my mom in the kitchen.. The first tower fell and my dad stood up out of his chair and said "HOLY SHIT.." I went to school after that..

I didn't really comprehend the events of that day until a few years later.. Now it's heartbreaking to watch those videos on the documentaries, but there were some moments that came out of it that reassured my faith in humanity.. Like the story of a Muslim man who fell down when he was running from the collapsing tower, and a Jewish gentleman helped him up and said "C'mon, we gotta go brother."

Two of the most disgusting things that came out of this were the conspiracy theories, and the hate against Muslims, Arabs, Indians, Pakistanis, and others from the Middle East..

My fuckin school was so ghetto they didn't have tv's make an announcement or nothin. My sophomore year it was around 10 somethin I went to my virtual high school class teacher was like "Yall won't be able to get on the internet planes hit the world trade center and internet connection has been down ever since, probably some transmittance issue." I laughs at this silly ass spanish bitch cuz I'm like she don't know what the fuck she talkin bout. I get home and my older brother is at home and he just fuckin tuned in. I see the shit and I was like blown away that the shit happened. I was fuckin tuned into that shit for months. I knew it was history.
