Maybe they arent to trusting in white scientist? Probably because of being considered by those same scientist as inferior to whites for all those hundreds of years.

Well thats the crux of the issue. Do we embrace anti-intellectualism because it's associated with "whiteness"? Science is science regardless of the race applying its methodology. Racial allegiance is a crutch we have to stop using we're going to have a fighting chance in a rapidly increasing technological society.

I don't have a problem with black people being highly spiritual and faithful. I do think it is funny when they show such an extreme loyalty to Christianity as if it has always been part of black heritage. They forget Christianity as a religion was forced on the slaves. Sure slaves found inspiration and stregth in the pages of the Bible, and that's good without a doubt, but Christianity is not some kind of African birthright. At least not the part of Africa from which most of the slaves came from. Ethiopia may have been the first Christian nation, but that isn't where most African Americans can trace their roots.

Christianity doesnt consider anybody to be inferior, I see where youre going with that line of thought. Just a suggestion. IMO though Humans havent been around long enough to know all the workings and outer workings in regard to alot of things on our own planet, more so I truely dont trust most mainstream Scientist because most of their research and papers are biased based upon who's giveing them funding and what that sponsor's motivation actually is.

For instance Scientist since the 70's have known cars could run on WATER, but the funding was not there and BIG OIL would have none of it.

The ENTIRE WORLD could have had FREE ENERGY since the 1920's Nicola Tesla (who I consider to be the Greatest Scientist of All Time) had proven this way back then but and JP Morgan killed his funding because there was no way to Profit from everybody getting Energy absolutely free.

So you see there's Alot of Fuckery with the issue of "science" and what they want you to know and what really is going on.

its crazy and I always wonder why black folks are afraid of atheism.... ..so it makes sense. The black church is soo deeply embed in every avenue of our society that it only makes since from a pragmatic perspective to use the churches resources. Peep that vid called Death of the Electric Car, it sheds a ton of light on the topic. Not only could by now in 2010 we would have been Gas Free, we will also could have saved a ton of jobs up in Detroit because Saturn was the first to mass produce them for CA residents only. nobody is disputing the idea that science has a legitimate application, but that doesn't mean that there aren't limitations and that we should ignore the fact that sometimes scientific analysis can be used in a biased way

I'm quite frustrated with my people personally, the religious ones. What frustrates me is mfs don't take accountability for their shit, they keep thinking Morgan Freeman aka God is in the sky on some chess shit, take credit and blame for what you do in life and stop using that GOD WORK IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS nonsense. First of all, Christianity teaches that if you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will be burning in a lake of fire for all eternity. This does not expressly use the phrase "inferior people" but be real, son. Christianity has a totalitarian worldview.

Second, the Bible endorses slavery in two ways. First, explicitly. The Bible says that it is perfectly okay to have slaves and you can even beat the shit out of them, as long as you don't kill them. If you kill them, you have to pay a FINE. I'm not joking. I can quote the verses for you if you like, or you can very easily look it up yourself. The second way the Bible endorses slavery is implicit in the Lord/worshiper dynamic. God is described as a king, not a democratically elected leader. You must worship him or you are an infidel. You must serve him or face his wrath. You must obey or be punished. This is a master/slave relationship.

We know how the planet works because we've examined it. We've observed and experimented with it. That's how science finds things out.

That's a great point to make about the corporate takeover of science (and everything else) but you are throwing the baby out with the bathwater. You're going to give up on all of science because of some corruption? What sponsor is making money off gravity? Magnetism? Or any of the other basic things science has discovered?

1. Hydraulics. The hydraulics in your car run on... hydro. Water. Your engine doesn't run on it because it's not nearly as efficient or powerful as gasoline.

2. BIG WATER. Giant companies buy the entire freshwater supply of third-world countries and do what they will with them. If they could make an engine that would perform better than a traditional one, they would.

Alot of blacks stick with religion though for alot of the same reasons as other races, because they are afraid to leave it and were taught not to question it. And then like someone already said you have certain blacks who aren't religious in the sense of being a Christian, Muslim, etc... but flock to fairy tale sciences because they don't trust white people who are the majority of scientist.

And to duke talkin about the electric car, that doesn't make scientist liars or untrustworthy. They figured out how and openly told people cars could be run on hydrogen. Just as they did with things like solar power, hydro power, etc... They were paid to develop other ways to run things also, Oil and other fossil fuels are the cash cows so governments and big business decided to implement them. At the time Oil was discovered and started being used for everything, even coal burning and shit in the start of the industrial revolution, nobody knew the effects it would end up having on the planet.
