Here is what it boils down to, I think: Some people consider a woman having kids as a deal-breaker or at the very least something that knocks her down a bunch of notches in terms of a potential life partner. Some people don't feel like that at all and it's either not that big of a deal to them or no deal at all to them.

So if a nigga is the latter type and he is dating a woman who has kids and she meets all his other criteria...what reason would he have to go looking for an equivalent woman WITHOUT kids? There isn't one. I feel like clearly Russ is the type to not care much about a woman having kids, when it comes to him choosing a wife.
