I don't listen to much Royce, but I remember when OB4CL came out. Raekwon might have been the absolute first MC to make up slang in the manner that he did. I'm not saying that he was the first MC to make up a slang term or popularize a slang term, but the entire album was all slang. Prior to Wu Tang, especially Raekwon's album, rappers generally used regular words with some slang thrown in. But Raekwon's album was all slang.
