IMDB is the worst place for ratings....Its an aggregated percentage of a bunch of random niggas with no taste. Rotten has actual professionals doing the critiquing. Even with Rotten I usually just go by the Top Critics ratings.

A random normal dude has the worst taste in movies, these niggas are the reason that Michael Bay, M Night, Brett Ratner, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese, and Matthew Mcaughnay have careers. The best critics are professionals journalists that have seen thousands and thousands of movies and know that I Am Number Four is hot garbage.

And the top critics are not paid off for their reviews, they continue to shit on big budget movies.

Scream 4 got a 61% thats "fresh" I may take my girl to see it. But we thoroughly enjoyed watching the kings speech together.

In case some of yall dont know, the percentage scores in rottentomatoes isnt the actual average score given to the film, its the percentage of critics that gave it a positive review. So a film might have got a 93%, but with an average score of 7.9. So that doesnt always mean the film is supposed to be oscar worthy or somethin. Metacritic or IMDB are probably better, anyway.

LOL, Co-sign. I can't believe anyone would let a site tell them what movie to watch and not watch. I do visit the site cause I'm into the movie world but I laugh when critics "Gang" up on a particular movie. A lot of the time critics are paid by studios (Like Lobbiest Pay Politicians) to rally for a particular movie. Rotton Tomoatoes came out 1998 now they are the "GOD" of reviews?, LOL. I've never gone to see a movie based off reviews. Cause that's just one persons opinion. To me the Trailer and concept is going to have to sell me. Someone made a great point earlier about "Fast and the Furious". I'm going to that movie not for acting or story. I'm going to see fast cars, fights, hot girls. That's what the movie is.

But these lame critics will trash it and bash it for those things cause there isn't any good acting. LOL. Most of these critics only give good reviews to drama's, the bash everything else. Again YOU are the ultimate critic. Also critical reviews can also lead you to pre-judge a movie without given it a proper chance. It does make me laugh when Rotten Tomatoes bashes a movie and it ends up either breaking the box office or the "FANS" give it the percentages that are higher than the critics. I rather go off what the Fans say than what a critic says. Don't get me wrong, just cause a movie makes money doesn't mean it's good. But just cause the critics say it's good doesn't mean it's good either. Both Sides are not perfect. Most critics are just movie fans anyway just like you are me. They aren't actual filmmakers.

Exactly. A bullshit film is still a bullshit film regardless of what it is. People are making the argument that the people on here who expect a certain quality of film are suddenly snobby and looking down on things like summer blockbusters, popcorn flicks and whatever which just isn't true. The fact is a lot of the films that get hyped up and wanked over on this message board by the majority of people are usually absolute crap, simple. People on here are just making up excuses for what are basically piss poor films like we should all just accept bad quality films for the sake of it and dare not to critique it, and then you wonder why websites like Rotten Tomatoes end up shitting on them and you get upset about it.

Dark Knight, Inception, Social Network, The Fighter are all movies I have seen with friends....all make I am number 4 and Transformers look like SyFy short.
