Artest won that Game 7 last year and with him gone it's almost a given Kobe'll choke again. So I'm for it.

LOL @ Ron being the reason we won the title last yr...I'm pretty sure the rest of the team had something to do with it...Ron is just mad because Phil keeps calling him out if he's getting emotional about that then he needs to trade therapists

shit, well then throw in billups instead.

i dont see denver trading anyone to the Lakers to help them out they're competing against them if anything artest would head out east but you never know what the lakers can pull out they did trade Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown smfh

Denver is running out of options..they would rather have Bynum and Artest then NO ONE, which is who they'll be left with at the end of the season..and Denver is in the same boat as cleveland when it comes to free agents..

lmao for melo are you serious right now??? Bynum is NEVER healthy, and Artest is underperforming with a terrible contract Denver isn't gonna give up Melo for those 2 guys

If Melo was staying in Denver and resigning, of course not...but my dude said "I'm leaving this summer"...it's kinda time you take what you can get, and if you're a team that's not attractive to free agents why NOT sign some talents players with long term deals? Gives you time to try to convince them to stay...who you think coming to Denver if Melo leaves??? Chris Paul? Dwight? It's best if they take whatever someone offers them on the trade deadline..them niggas looking like craigslist right now "Willing to trade for superstar OBO"

But denver isn't going to trade him in conference especially to the 2 time NBA champs why do you think they were trying so hard to ship him to the nets

Cuz the nets were the most willing to offer...I mean, dont get me wrong..I'm sure trading him to someone in the west isn't their first option..but you telling me you rather trade Melo for Favors over Bynum/Artest? I mean, let's face it, the trade probably WONT go down..but let's say it doesnt...and then the Lakers trade Bynum and Artest at the end of the season and Melo goes to LA...then what is denver stuck with?? They KNOW that's a possibility...so why not get SOMETHING...for Melo, especially something worth it...Hell Artest has been a bum since he hasn't been the focus of the team, they could use him for the rest of the season as a focal point, get his numbers up, and then ship him somewhere else for younger players...

The point is, do you want to take NOTHING, when the possibility of SOMETHING is there...sure Bynum hasn't been healthy, but dude is like 22, a lot of upside...and the Lakers have "considered" trading Bynum and Artest anyway, and they KNOW the team runs smoothly with Gasol @ the 5 and Odom at the 4..especially now with Barnes, Brown etc coming off the bench for support..both teams COULD win in this deal, which is MOST important for Denver..continuing to have puzzle pieces to move around...because NO ONE wants to go to Denver!
