First off, he's not owed $10million, not even close. That's a bullshit claim that's easy to see through. Second, we're talking close friends and family, not a tenant or some random nigga that tried to do you dirty.

But, if we substitute $10million with $100 dollars, would you still go to a lawyer?

And a lawyer is simply a way for the system to make money off of you, same goes for prisons and anything else you think is here to help or protect you. You should be able to settle disputes without outside interference.

Allegedly, It's Future that don't have any morals or cares about his reputation if he's not paying Rocko what they agreed on. For all we know Rocko tried to reach out to Future and he just ignored him or straight up told him fuck you, I don't owe you shit.
