Is there an explanation why DeNiro does so many terrible movies sandwiched around a good one every now and then.

What I'm saying is why does he continually flood the market with average to below average movies that only can water down his legacy??? Dude's in like 4 movies a year, granted there's some good ones sprinkled in like Silver Linings Playbook, The Intern, and Limitless.

For fun. Look at that list of characters: his legacy is cemented. He could play fucking Big Bird for the next 10 years, and you'll still think Goodfellas, Godfather, Casino, Raging Bull, and Heat when you hear his name.

I say Marlon Brando: do you think Dr. Moreau or Don Corleone, Stanley, Colonel Kurtz? Exactly. The shit that matters is your legacy. All that wack shit is filtered out.
