I was frozen watching SportsCenter this morning. RIP Stuart Scott

Also, Kobe Bryant and D-Wade will be on the SVP and Russillo radio show tomorrow to talk about Stuart Scott. It's really going to be a good show given how close Stu and SVP were for years. If you can't tune in you can download it the next day on the ESPN Radio App in its entirety.

i know a few family friends that used to work and work at espn here in CT and a few shared stories on social media about a moments they remember about him. i don't think ive ever been so sad in a minute after a celebrity passing but dude changed the sports anchor game as we know it.

rip to a legend

and to limit his influence to sports broadcasting is a crime

he changed the way ALL media presented itself, period. From print, audio, and visual

limiting his changes to sports media is a disservice....all media here period took pages from his book, and he needs his proper respect

and i dont take it as a slight, but he wasnt a merely a "hip hop" broadcaster, but a GENUINE BLACK broadcaster. He incorporated many lyrics in hip hop nuances into his presentation, sure, but he did much more than that

black people in general speak with the fluid & ever evolving ingenuity he displayed whether they consider themselves hip hoppers , listen to hip hop or not. The brotha was just on some black shit. He and us are much more than hip hop, but this is america so....yea

u rarely get genuine black shit on such a stage...hes a pioneer and opened doors for many

rest in peace
