His last album was trash and didn't have the public appeal with singles the way his other albums had.
Maybe God forgives that, but I don't.
But Ross' biggest problem is oversaturation. If he wants to stay relevant, paradoxically, he needs to just hang back for a while. Between all his publicity stunts before and after his last album release, and his quick trigger to release mixtapes both close to the album release date and just after the album release, then his public admission to being a date-rapist, he just needs to go away.
It's hard to change your sound and win more fans when oversaturate the market with your repetitive verses. If he tries to change and do something different on Mastermind, the public won't buy it b/c it'd just be a drastic change compared to everything else he's released so close to it.
He's gonna drive himself right out the game. Not that it'd be a bad thing. I like some of his singles, but he has no appeal b/c he's not a relatable person. Liars that lie as much as he does usually aren't.
