As far as Em winning, it might have been for political reasons. After all, stations ran this disclaimer before and after the video due to the images of domestic violence in the video. Add that to the star power of both Rihanna and Eminem and the subject matter of the song and you have a token choice for a front runner for an award win. Personally, I think "BMF" should've won, but whatever.
I'm still planning on watching it because it has a line up of performers that other awards show won't and don't showcase for whatever reason. Cee Lo, Erykah Badu, Ross, and Keyshia Cole are supposed to be performing.
