When someone speaks about your music and it's never about the lyrics, flow, concepts, or creativity..its always about the beat that carries you...that should set off alarms

He's got a good ear for beats...

:joy: that's all I got

He's made good music, but he's rarely ever the reason it's dope.

He's basically a black DJ Khaled, but he actually adds something to the song other than screaming ad libs.

He's a caricature with his whole BAUCE image and all the shit he says, which might be corny 10-20 years down the line when we look back

Actually he's one of the better MCs I've heard in the past 10 years, which isn't saying a lot because I kinda stopped checking for Hip Hop around 2005.

I like him because he uses that rapid fire delivery like Nas, Raekwon or Biggie. He doesn't rap with a Southern drawl which is a plus and like everybody else said, his beats are dope.

But truthfully the only album I've heard from him was Deeper Than Rap, which is a solid album.

But I think I've heard enough of him to say he's not in my top 10 or 15.

He's consistent too. You know what you're gonna get from a Rick Ross album. One could take this as a lack of creativity but a lot of artists are inconsistent and fall off. Since he found that sweet spot musically he's stayed in his lane.

He ate off this game & hustled I do respect that, but nothin about him lyrically or personality wise feels genuine to me. I feel like he'd be chewed up and spit out if his career began in the 90s (can say that about a lot of rappers but him especially thanks to the CO stint). He's a product of good timing.

Not in today's culture. There's a lot of cats that don't write their own rhymes now, niggas that are inconsistent with their flows and content, and have no real individuality.
