Rick Ross was the name of a famous drug dealer. The rapper took that name because of that. To me its not a lot of different than the other examples already named. But this situation somehow irks people because he denied knowing who Rick Ross was? Common sense tells you that is not true. It is pretty obvious the rapper did not want to acknowledge the drug dealer at all, so he said he doesnt know who he is. Disrespectful, yes, fraudulent? not really. As far as taking RR persona, well I am pretty sure that he wasnt. If you have ever been to Miami, there are plenty of people comparable to Cali RR. RR does not have a patent on dealing dope, it did not start with RR nor did it end when he was locked up. If you have seen the DVD MI Yayo, produced by the rapper, there are examples of notorious street hustlers from down south. To me its more wack that the "real" rick ross would even care about the rapper. Dude just did 15 years and sold all that dope and he is concerned with the rapper? I wouldnt even care if I were in that position but the real one does, and I am sure he feels like the rapper owed him something. The rapper doesnt feel like he does so he treats him that way. Disrespectful, yes, but in reality he dont owe washed up dope dealers a damn thing other than the respect for doing his time but not one thin dime.
Why when people say Ross is this huge fraud, they say the same damn thing and the repeat, like it was more than what it was. They are like he lies so much, he said he wasnt a CO, then he said he was. And then they repeat this shit like 15 times, like it he lied about 15 other things but in reality it was the same damn thing. It was the one thing, thats it, wasnt any more, he denied being a CO.
