I got the feeling that you didn't know who Ross was before the "beef" wit 50. As soon as Dre left and Eazy couldnt depend on his beats no more he wanted to out that nigga even though they from the same neighborhood...He exposed that nigga as being "the original fake nigga" as you put it. But Dre kept sellin cause at that time he was down with Suge Knight, and no one questioned that niggas gangsta at the time...he literally racketeered Dre out of that deal, and shortly thereafter Eazy died. Niggas realized that Dre wasnt a gangsta but by the time he wasnt associated w gangstas he changed up his whole style...he wasnt portrayin gangsta anymore he was portrayin "Im a dope producer from Compton and I got a whole buncha new artists on my new Aftermath label...
