I do agree with the threadstarter too though. I think Ross stepped his lyrical skills up with Trilla and Deeper Than Rap and I'm a fan of his music, but his lifestyle seems fabricated beyond belief.
Plenty of rappers took their stage names from real gangstas, but Ross should've never fronted on the person he got his name from. For him to stop taking Ross phone calls and basically act like that's not where he got his entire persona is disrespectful. The real Ricc Ross said Freeway showed him love and reached out like a man.

I some Florida cats on this site claiming that Ross was a CO bacc in '06 and they didn't make an issue out of it because CO's are known to be crooked. So people have known for a long time. All he had to do was admit it and keep it moving

WILLIAM ROBERTS took someones full government name who is still alive and totally denied doing it! Dude is phony for acting like the real Ricc Ross had nothing to do with his persona. The real Ross said he basically avoided him when he tried to reach out to him. The crazy thing is that the real Riccy Ross said that he didn't even call Rawse with threats or by trying to harass him. He said he wanted to make business plans with him and Ross stopped taking his calls.
That along with denying being a CO make Ross a fake dude. I still listen to his music and like the fact that he stood up to 50, but I gotta call a spade a spade
