Good his music is nothing special.He is not a good rapper and is carried by the beats JUST LIKE 50.They are one int he same,except 50 was HUGE at one point.
if he couldnt do it when he first came out (when it was still reasonably possible to go platitum and not be kanye Em, jay-z level) then i doubt he can do it in the future where record sales are constantly declining

When you think about what Ross is doing is pretty impressive. Take BoB for instance, dude debut album had 3 top 10 pop hits and he barely went gold, the same numbers as Ross.
Whether Ross have longevity or not will depend on whether he can evolve as a artist!
i don't think so unless he drops a crossover hit. nigga seems to be doing just find where he is. for a dude who doesn't get much radio play and can't go plat he sure had label's beating down his doors. let's see how his next album does and how his artist develop. I have a feeling that the label isn't happy with the numbers self made did. but I hope they weren't expecting much b/c we all know Ross alone doesn't do major numbers.
