That means, between the manager, the kid working the fries, the kid making the burgers, the kid working the drive through, and the two at the cash registers, one of them worked one of their work hours just to buy Ross' album. The proceeds from which he'll use to frequent these fast food joints and make those very kids work to make his food.

It's a sad vicious cycle.

5 Gold LP's. You know what, give Rick his props. He build a nice loyal fanbase that will come out for him. Sure he probably won't go platinum cause sadly spitting hard and gangsta ain't what's that popular these days. But again due to his great production he's able to again connect with fans. Lyrically he's not that great, but he does have a pretty decent flow and his voice does go well with tracks. His single game is good to. Overall though he's going to need to evolve cause he's been getting repetitive. But 5 Gold LP's, 4 of them went #1 on the charts and the other #2. That's not bad no matter how you slice it.

And the fact that Snoop's first 7 solo albums went platinum, and first 8 solo albums went at least gold.

Ludacris' first 5 albums were platinum, and all 7 albums have gone at least gold.

Props to Ross, but he's got a long way to go before he reaches some of these artists' level of consistent success.

That shipping gold/platinum is the biggest bullshit ever, the label and artist has to buy back those albums that don't sell in the stores. So in actually Ross is in the 300k sold, he is not gold.
