I guess this isn't a bad thing. Hell I was expecting another Rick Ross feature on Nas new album anyways. I just hope the lyrics aren't sacrificed for the beats.

But at the same time Nas a legend. How fuckin hard is it for him to have the best of the best producers on his albums?

it's not about having the best producers. Sometimes you have to have an ear for picking up good beats and instrumentals that compliment your flow , cadence, tone etc.

check out Isiah rashad Dom Kennedy Asap Rocky earl sweatshirt etc. theses niggas have incredible sounds in their projects but the producers aren't "super " producers by any means

I wouldn't expect him to have an album full of current super producers (it isn't the Nas of today's style). I would like to think that he has enough clout to get more of them if he so chooses. At this point tho I don't care who produces his music as long as it's good.

Those cats you listed do got a good ear for beats tho.

nas rapping.....rick ross has direction over the beats...this could be goat

Niggas will hate but if it goes exactly like this the album will be a classic. This is what Jay should be doing but he's "too big" to ask for help like that SMMFH. You saw bow it worked for Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, Currensy and Alchemist, D'Angelo etc.

Very good move by NaS and could mean MMG might help distribute it as well. Will be looking out for this....

Same nikkaz who want this move are the same type nikkaz that wanted Nas to sign to Murder Inc. These clicks come and go. When will you nikkaz learn.

Exactly and "picking beats" doesn't equal "executive producer" . What album has Ross executive produced? I'm curious.

Hell I'd love to hear Nas and Ross BOTH on an album together. Everytime they get together, it's magic. Plus Nas always shines over down south production.

Accident murderers......fuck that. Ross cant stay on topic. But if he bring that devil in a new dress out for 60 minutes, i'll pay for it.

I'd prefer that DJ Premier and Nasty NaS album but I can settle for this

Man the time for that is over, royce got preme now. If Nas and preme didn't drop a classic it'll be a flop imo
