I listen through it.

the only thing you might be able to say is the self made music for each album sounds like the artists current projects at the time of release. For instance Hold Me Back From GFID sounds like a worse version of Acting Up by Wale Meek and French from V2. During the V1 days Tupac back sounds like some of Meeks Mixtape shit at the time.

But the reason i like the self made's is honestly they can be better than the actual solo albums from MMG during the same time period. Meeks album was weak sauce and so was rick rosses last album past a few verses from Andre 3K and maybe so sophisticated. But Self Made V2 was still solid.

That cover is weak as hell IMO

At least it ain't look like the lineup for an MMG Power Rangers movie

smh quit catchin feelings when someone says their shit sounds the same. it might not sound exactly the same, but you don't ever listen to an MMG mixtape or album and hear all kinds of different sounding shit, their music is mostly all in the same style and sound.

Now, some of their solo stuff doesn't sound like the typical MMG sound. like Wale's album for example, but on the other hand the majority of meek's album fit that typical sound you expect from MMG.
