$100,000 is far from rich. If I was RICH, I wouldn't tell my kids how much I made. But I'm not rich. Lol. When my son reaches an age to be able to keep the information to himself, I'm gonna sit him down and show him exactly how much I make. And then show him exactly how much our monthly bills are. And teach his ass that shit costs money and that money doesn't grow on trees. And most importantly, since it doesn't grow on trees, he needs to value it and what it can do for him - while still not letting it control his movements.

lol nigga 100k is rich... smh ic niggas... you have to pay the government during tax season when you make that much... you rich...

Wtf?!? Not only is 100k not rich, it's not CLOSE to rich. Fuck is you talking about?! Lol.

nigga where you live?

anything above middle class is rich... you saying 100k is middle class? fuck naw to be middle class it's 30-60k...

Someone hasn't heard of the word inflation. $100k is not rich unless uyou live in a city/state/country where the cost of living is cheap.

The dollar has depreciated a lot.

100k is well off i would consider it rich though.

Rich is when you are above tax brackets, which i believe is 250k+

Ud never tell my kids what i make though. My wife knows how much i MADE at the end of the year, but has no access to the bank account or knows what i have now.

No one needs to know what you make just that you take care of business.

you niggas stunting... trolling or both... i understand niggas can want more than 100k a year... but if you at that level you can't say it's "hard" out here or whatever. . living in the hood you can survive off 24 a year... and be decent... so i know for a fact 100k can have you comfortable. the problem with niggas is try and live above their means... if I made a 100k and still lived like i was on a 60k budget how can I not be comfortable? how I not stack money? that's why in america most people are 2 checks from being in debt because they stretch their money to the limit.

smh the ic full of ballers though... imo you niggas sound spoiled as hell..

You don't have guests.....

I said Food and Pantry.....toothpaste, toilet tissue, paper towels, soap, deoderant, mouthwash, shaving cream, garbage bags, household shit..it adds up.

Yeah it don't sound like you living good. Honestly, sounds like our standards are different. I'll leave that at that. I'll assume you're trolling but I can fuck off 5 minutes for this......

damobb2deep;8161390 said:
btw we was not talking 100k before taxes..
Don't try to play me, where was that distinction made as a talking point? Or is this the creation of a straw man argument?

Oh wait.........here's your post

damobb2deep;8159932]lol nigga 100k is rich... smh ic niggas... you have to pay the government during tax season when you make that much... you rich
When you make that much u gotta pay taxes said:
also I'm gucci on damn 1700 for spending money a month..

Player buy Gucci with 1700 a month.

damobb2deep;8161390 said:
this is how I stack my money... i try and have all my bills fit into one check for the month.. i stack/spend money out the rest... I'm not a splurging nigga so i only spend no more than a quarter of that.. leaving the other quarter to stack..

Yeah that sounds nice and all. Like I said adjust that to Silicon Valley and see how that works out.

damobb2deep;8161390 said:
if you are living where you are and 100 racks before taxed gets you that... you still stacking 8 racks a year not bad imo... but if you want to stack more... move that simple..

Yeah, that was the point.

8 racks a year? Do you ever plan to own anything? Or do you want to depend solely on loans That'll take forever to pay back to get it? Different standards. Yeah you can survive, but that ain't living good.

lol I never troll... but like I said before I'm good with that.... and if I wanna stack more... i will move... struggling and 100k should never be in the same sentence...

100k ain't what it used to be

damobb2deep;8163616 said:
lol you niggas don't know struggle... if you can't live in a suburb with 100k you an entitled muthafucka...

i know struggle..

i also know 100k aint shit. lol

not sayin u dirt poor if u dont make it and cant make it on it... but to say "rich"!?! gtfoh

And it’s probably not such a secret to begin with anyway. “You live in a 25,000 square foot house, and your kids have never been on a commercial plane—they’re always on your private jet,” Kurlander responded. “I think they’ve figured it out.”

This pretty much is the summary. The rest of article is well......

I'll probably lose all status I don't have on these forums, but I grew up a kid with parents who had more than 99% of the friends I was in contact with.

They never said nothing about how much money they had and neither did my neighbors, but my other friends and family let me know quick how they felt about the life I lived.

Often it resulted in trouble, fights, trying to prove I didn't think I was better than someone else, being introduced as someone with and not like the rest. Due to this I learned around 3rd grade not to bring people back to my house or ever talk about the life I grew up in because to many it was a sign of bragging and an invitation to being cast out of black friendships

Ain't no sympathy, just the life.

Alot of my cousins also grew up with families with quite a bit of money, but they're parents flaunted it and told them they were rich. They grew up to be rich acting snobs with a ton of bitches, but very little depth to their personality and pretty much just assholes who do think they're better and will tell you quick.

Now as an adult and sooo far from rich it's not funny but still okay, I don't talk about money I make because it invites me getting robbed, people asking for a job, a loan, wanting to stay with me in my house for too long, being friends cause they think you have money and so on.

Now, I can see why my parents never talked about money. Ironically, they now ask me for way too much money and money I don't have cause they think i got it. They have to ask for it now that they're 67 b/c their business ain't what it used to be.

Unless we're doing business together and I need you to co-sign or need to make investments with you and I need to know your line of credit so I can see your money-trails then knowing how much is in my bank account is never important.

My wife won't know until we've been married at least 2 years.

hell nah, my mom never complained to me about money as a kid, and it worked out. i figured we weren't rich, but i never felt "broke" that was just life. your 9 year old doesn't need to know that you had to borrow money from your auntie to pay the rent, that shits depressing.

They dont need to know cause they aint earn a penny of it.

Now you should teach them everything necessary to create a good living for themselves one day but they dont need to know whats in my pocket. I wouldn't trust they asses either

Seems legit.
