Diddy said his label is going to be held to the same musical standards of everybody else.

Badbod records dosen't make a lot of money no more.... And he's invested 10's of millions into this network... If he shows bias towards his own music or any group, he's doomed.

He's not going to risk losing $50mil just so he can make $100k playing a few of his artists videos. Diddy is a smart business man

What's so special about it?

Just a hyped up music channel by diddy.. Supposed to have a lot of real world social media interaction...

Like a nigga can log on skype, talk about a music situation, and it'll be broadcast on the channel... Music videos, etc...

I think it can be cool if done right....

I look at it as a Forum (illcommunity) except broadcast on Television, instead of just making threads (at least this is an element to it, besides the videos)

Diddy calls it the "ESPN of music".... Imagine a first take or around t he horn, but for music.... I think it could be funky potentially.

The live stream fucked up just like magna carta though... I don't understand when these big launches go down, why not have 100,000 servers so you make sure the shit don't fuck up? No excuse for that

probably cause it either cost too much or they still dont really understand the technology ... diddy needs to hire someone like me lol and its not nessarilly about servers but more about BANDWIDTH ... they just need enuff bandwidth to handle the load ... or the option is to spread the link accross multiple location that away you can load balance the traffic .... alot of different ways to accomplish it ... alot of sneakers websites are starting to get it now with thier online releases .... like i said diddy just needs someone who knows about this stuff ......

if the content will be as versatile as he says it will be then there should be no complaints .. and on the breakfast club he said he will hold himself and his artist to the same standards that he would hold any artist to when considering them for play on the station ...... but i guess time will tell his true intentions

The popular artists need a consolidated visual outlet.

this will be goat if like diddy said on the breakfast club they have live or current debates with a decent panel. Weather its about hip hop or rock or cross platform whatever that is what music is missing. All we really have is the mtv hot MC's list really as far as a TV debate music wise and that is half assed and scripted.
