I'm not saying he isn't the most gangster... But simply surviving doesn't automatically make you the most gangster. It Makes you guy with the most money, Able to stay above the fray.

You don't say the president is the best at battle during a war with iraq or some shit. He ain't out there fighting, he just calling the shots while all the soldiers do the work. That doesn't make him a hero. Makes him a shot caller.

Diddy did survive, yes, but he had biggie out here rolling with lil cease and droc, while he himself was with top military personnel. That ain't gangsta.

He met with those crips, allegedly,, and told em to kill pac. Then he shitted on them with the payment, allegedly, and they were no longer protecting when biggie got shot... That ain't gangsta.

Survival solely doesnt make you a man of principle and honor. Again, maybe my understanding of situation is wrong. Maybe diddy is gangsta. But i need to hear more of the story... Cause based on what we know. Hee just a nigga who had all the money, and did the type moves that anyone with lots of loot would do. But he wasn't out there like vito corleone, or tony soprano, or marlo from the wire. Every situation we know about was him using his money to get out of shit or start shit, i.e. The Shyne situation.

A couple of things Fam because for the most part I agree with what you had to say but, when I say Gangsta I am not talking about just foot soldiers as they are the low end of the spectrum and the most abundant portion of it while a shot caller is what every foot soldier aspires to reach and is the embodiment of a true Gangster. The Shyne situation is a great example because from all accounts it has Diddy busting caps if just in the air and Shyne eating the charges how is that not Gangster. He made that man take the case and Shyne came out after some on again off again love hate shit good with Diddy.

Now do not take my statement of Gangsta as me cosigning Diddy's moves or even respecting most of that shit actually in contrast most of what he has gotten away with is personally repugnant on many levels. He has made a career off of of snake moves and sacrifices but he has been untouched for all this grimey shit he has been a part of.
