I stopped watching when the jumped from a mainly zombie based movie, to mutant monster creatures.

Which isn't wrong, because resident evil as a whole isn't about zombies.

I just wasn't interested in watching it.

No such thing as a perfect movie, but the RE movies are horrible lol. My mother likes these movies too. I only can stomach the first one. These movies are one level above SyFy movies.
