But basically a employee wellness program is a additional add on for company provided health insurance. By doing standard things like timely check ups and health screenings. You enter yourself into a chance to gain additional money for the quarter or multiple quaters depending on the company.

It's totally optional, the point of it is for companies to be able to negotiate premiums with the healthcare companies that they use. Which is why they want to be specifics, in hopes it weeds out people that may think they will put up a red flag and not participate.

That way the only people that are likely to enter are people of relatively good health. The company gives out less health bonuses and are in a better position to negotiate. I mean, every thing aint some sinister plot to fuck people over and fire black people
