Brian Shaw been with the organization for 12+ years(player and assistant coach), 5 rings, was under one of the greatest coaches of all time, knows all the ins and outs of the Lakers, and the players(including Kobe) respect him.
And you Pick Mike Brown? FOH

KeepOnPushing;2655620 said:They're Saying Rick Adelman asking price and Age played the biggest factor, he's 65 ...would he be someone who talks about retirement 3 years from now and then they have to do another coaching search, and "if" Mike Brown did a good job he's a Long Term Coach and not a 3 year coach but longer and that would be easier for younger free-agents to come to because they know who the coach will be....
pretty much if Adelman did a good job or not the chances of him coaching close to the age of 70 is probably pretty slim and they would have to do another hunt for a coach
if Mike Brown does a good job they would just extend his contract and he'd be there long term and it help with free-agency because they know who the coach would be now and also Long term, not just for 2 or 3 years..
but i mean you already knew that so why even make him adelman a option...
just dont see what Mike Brown brings to the table from a overall stand point, they're gonna be running all over that dude, they bout to have a field day over there.
