Yeah but any lawyer with half a brain is going to file a cease and desist order and then sue for royalties.

The only way she stays out of court is if Nas owns the masters to the song and he lets her use it. Otherwise if Sony owns the masters and the song blows up (it already went viral, Fox news reported the song last night) then Sony will want a percentage of the profits.

And if you don't clear the song before you release it then the owner of the masters usually ends up with 100% of the profits.

As another poster noted, she should have used The Bridge Is Over beat. That beat is from Criminal Minded, which was owned by a now defunct label. I don't think anybody would sue her for that beat.
