Too many cops are trigger happy, 90% of them have never really shot at a suspect. Dispite all the stories you hear, officer involved shootings aren't very common. Personally, I think bullets need to be switched from lethal to non-lethal, the non-lethal still hurt really bad, they do enough damage to put down a perp and end the situation at hand. Police make quick decisions based on the suspect, if the suspect goes for anything, even unarmed, they're shooting to defend themselves (the officer).

youre talking about a street cop who has basic weapons training shooting limbs that are small and moving in the heat of an altercation in order to stop an assailant...not to mention hitting a person in a limb can still kill youve got the brachial artery in the arms and the femoral in the legs or the fact that shooting a person in the limbs isnt a 100% effective at stopping someone... neither is center body mass but youre more likely to put a person down CBM than even hitting someone in a moving limb

here's the thing: in NYC the cops are when a perp has a deadly weapon authorized to use deadly force NO QUESTIONS ASKED if they got a knife or any type of sharp object that's more than two inches they dead, gun or any type of a projectile weapon a pine box will be made for that person. Now that stems from all of those niggas wit guns that even the police don't have that that law was put into place to protect cops. Now I have talked to former cops from tha NYPD and that was what they was taught "put them down if you feel as though your life is in danger" it's fucked up but when you got niggas walkin round wit rifles,shotties,and handguns that even the cops don't have what you expect ta happen. In any nigga's mind when faced with that shit is "him or me and it DAMN SURE AIN'T GONNA BE HIM"
