The only thing jay-z excels nas in is business acumen and record sales but artistically Jay isn't touching nas at all.

Jay is a better songwriter hence why he can make hits for radio, clubs, streets,backpackers,etc. He touches all fan base and that's why he has maintained platinum status for 20 years. Nas is pretty much a niche rapper compared to Jay.

Secondly, as long as you don't mean it disparagingly, it's a fair comparison. Given that Ronaldo also has world class ability. He is at least very good at everything and is as complete an athlete as you could get but Messi is magic

Beckham he loved being on the camera & he had a lot of media behind his back, he was good but he was known for other things outside football. He had several companies and stuff. So that was the comparison mixed with Ronaldo as a player.
