I started getting really into foreign films because of Amores Perros & City of God- Two great films ever that touched me on a different level.

8. Internal Affairs trilogy (Departed based on)

Battle Royale (film)

I've been watching a bunch of the chinese flicks on Netflix lately. Watched "Bodyguards and Assassins" last night. Good movie. Started off kinda slow. Donnie Yen is a BEAST.

Liked Battle Royale, but swear it felt like it was 3 hours long by the time they started to wrap it up.

If you have Netflix, they have a foreign film category. Well ones I've seen that was ok is Gangster's Paradise: Jerusalem and Kingdom Of War part 1 & 2.

I seen What Becomes of the Broken Hearted as well, definitely not as good as the first and there were some parts that were strange. But it is ok.
