Anybody remember a similar thread that had recommended books, lectures and sites on it? It's probably a year old (or more) by now.

The naked ape by Desmond Morris. Best book I've ever read hands down. Shows how man is nothing more than a vertically upright ape. Ha!! I knew there was a reason why I only crave food, sex & silence. All the other shit we do in life (work, school, socializing) is a distraction to "get" to the food, sex and silence.

There is a book series I started reading I downloaded them through iTunes the books are called slave narrative four pack volumes 123 and 4. I recommended I haven't finished reading I got volume 1 and 4 am looking to get the rest they are only a $1. I've learned so much from those book I was astonished at some of the narrations and relates from former slaves... Things that you wouldn't be taught in school and things kept from a lot of us there were things narrated about what people went through in slavery that gave me the chills man and things my mind can't understand on how hyenous some people can be towards fellow humans. Check em out

Listened to this all the way through at work, shit is hilarious to me how dude basically says that life sucks, hos cant be trusted, family will suck you dry and nothing we do, even under the guise of doing it to obtain happiness and completion within ourselves means shit in the grand scheme.

I’ve recently read The Model Thinker by Scott E. Page. And I think it one of the best books that i’ve read. He teackes how to solve problems using mathematical models, that really made me think a lot
