since we lost gil scott-heron recently there's a book he wrote that i want to read he wrote back in the day called "the nigger factory". another book i'll recommend that i read recently is "breaking open the head" by daniel pinchbeck, something i've wanted to read for a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time due to my shamanic studies. currently i'm trying to finish "the sirius mystery" by robert temple.

oh yeah--does comic books/graphic novels count?:D

anything by Malcolm Gladwell.

The Outliers was particularly impressive.

I read blink, for the first fifty or so pages I didn't like it but it grew on me.

didn't really like it, not too many new findings, most things he writes about are common knowledge/sense.
i want to check out the tipping point though, heard it is his best work

Losing my cool by Thomas Chatterton Williams.

sounds interesting, will definetely read it

If anyone is studying business, plans to start his own business or to get a senior position especially marketing related, "Positioning the battle for your mind" by Al Ries & Jack Trout is a must read. It's a classic that redefined the game.
