5th Letter- What are your thoughts on today's hip hop?
Lou_Cypher- I don't pay attention to it too much. I knew the good music was never going to be the stuff that plays on the radio or tv ever again. All these new kid's made it cool to not even try. I'm fine with anyone making money aND making music doing what you love, but 90% of that xxl freshman cypher for the last few years need to make a new genre of music and do that dont call it hip hop. At the most the genre of shit they are doing should be cosidered hip hops bastard child. The fans could do better (myself icluded) and support the good rappers, but nobody wants to pay for music. That's why these indie guys tour so hard. They will sell 5k albums, but do a show for 10k people that same week.
Labels need to promote good artists but kids are the biggest consumers and get the dumb stuff pushed on them.
5th Letter- How did you discover the IC?
Lou_Cypher- I was looking at allhiphop.com for years reading illseed rumors. The message boards I was posting at before ic all died. I saw ahh had a forum and signed up for the fuck of it to talk hip hop. This was back in 09 or sometime around there. I didn't post much until i got a desk Job around 2011.
5th Letter- What were your earliest memories of the IC?
Lou_Cypher- It was either the stew and beezy reveal or when the site went down due to hackers for like 3 months or longer. Whichever came first. I remember the stew and beezy stuff was the first big ic thread I followed outside of the reason though.
5th Letter- What are some of the craziest things you've seen since you've been on the IC?
Lou_Cypher- Everything really lol. Almost any exposure. It's fucked up, but I have to be there to see them especiaply if boobs are involved because most the ladies here are quite attractive. Then when texts or messages get exposed and we all laugh at whatever was said. I'm no better than the people that got exposed in the past though lol. Not many of us are. Craziest though was the shenco roast. It was just a regular roast, bUT what made it crazy was the amount of people that participated in it and how long it lasted. People posting that didn't like eachother were all in there together roasting him. The fact that he held his head high and kept progressing was pretty crazy too. Dudes way more positive than I am. I would have hung the mic up lol. I think part of why people roasted so much though is because of the way shenco is. He's confident in himself and his music, even though he shouldn't be. That's how people succeed though, just shut off everyone else and push through the bullshit and hopefully you will get better to other people. Confidence is the key.
5th Letter- Will you ever get to a point where you'd discuss you and you know who's relationship/situation?
Lou_Cypher- Nah. My business is my business.
5th Letter- Who are some of your favorite and least favorite posters?
Lou_Cypher- The community is a lot smaller these days, but we all bring our own personalities to this place that make it interesting enough to go to day after day. Favorites: gta crew: dubbz, jamel, banginscrew, du, cain, manuel, dee, reesey, trollio, and I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting. Then the battle rap crew. Goldie, geechi slim, atribecalledgabi, and more I can't recall been awhile since I was active in that forum. Least favorite: MizuryLillith

Lou_Cypher- I would permanently ban mizury. And I would cooperate with other posters to try and get more members signed up to add more arguments aND personality
