Rick Ross has the best production to me. Not a fan of him lyrically at all, but he has gotten better in my opinion.

But he's nowhere near Talib Kweli as an MC.

Summer '08 and summer '09 were way worse. Last year was also worse. Collectively, only Untitled Watch The Throne, and Ecstatic dope. Regardless of quality, C3 was pretty much inescapable in '08, but besides three albums, I don't really remember much from either summer really being talked about or discussed.

This summer, there's still Life Is Good, Ross's album, G.O.O.D.'s Cruel Summer, and 2Chainz.
