I lurk like crazy on this board, the reactions make it easier to skim threads, see which post are quality/worth reading

kinda true kinda not.

Depends on the thread also depends on the post count.

Someone who just signed up no matter wtf they said isn't going to get the same reaction as a "vet".

The post might even get looked over.

I say keep em need a wtf and smh button tho.

I think they serve their purpose for the reason others have mentioned. I always hated it when I had to skim through posts being quoted with lols or cosigns.

I will say one thing though. People are social beings, they wanna fit in and belong. Some posters see posters before 'em hit the reaction button so they're inclined to hit the same reaction button. Sometimes I have made posts that were aiight but nothing special but they have a gang of ethers and GOATs, while better posts got overlooked. I think everybody knows what I'm talking about.

Sometimes posters know they can't win any debate with you so they'll throw in the towel by hitting the reaction button. Like you'll get a feelings when in fact they're the one who caught 'em.

I actually like the site better than a few years ago. Ever since the IC got rid of a bias mod and a few trolls who disrupted it's most important room, The Reason, the site has gotten better. Only thing is the traffic could be better. People don't post like they used to unless it's about something like that Kendrick verse or w/e.

i'd only get rid of the negative ones. we don't need a bunch of posts saysing "cs", "lol" or "ether" but if you got a problem with what somebody wrote you should probably just @ dat nigga and peel his cap.

Reactions (and being able to see them) let's you know a thread jumpin'. The page count helps too but I like to open threads and see a lot of reactions so I know the activity in that thread is good.

But in reality it doesn't matter who the Admin is because the admin can't change shit on the site that needs to be changed...like the ability to see notifications on mobile.

Need more reliable web devs imo...somebody(s) who actually give a shit.

How much y'all willing to pay per hour of dev work?
