Does dude write like that all the time? Seems like he was writing the way Tyler speaks in this kind of don't give a fuck, but still hitting you with real, but sidetracking manner.

what are you talking about?

Interesting article no doubt. I look through Pitchfork every once and a while. Actually where I found out about them. Well they definitely live for controversy, but under all that there's a lot of talent imo. You know a lot of stuff for someone who doesnt fuck with them though lol

The big-ass article written for XXL. Does the writer of that article always write like that or was he spoofing OF and people missed that?

yeah i'm trying to give them a chance like i stated before. from reading more articles and listening to a few jawnts i can see that they're obviously misfits but that they're totally anti-est. not to mention aren't very fond of white amerikkka, the same fanbase they seem to have gained. you can see this from their album covers depicting them looking all fucked up. the review of their 15-min. performance at SXSW was crazy and hilarious both at the same time. the journalist made a good point in the sense that what they rhyme about most of the time isn't funny nor is it meant to be but the yuppie white trash were laughing all the way when they left the stage after cursing them out for appearing uninterested in their performance. young black angst has always attracted and been romanticized by white people just as long as it's not acted out, THEN there's a problem.

man this is mos def their year that's for sure.
