Sound like some gay shit to me. If you're a fighter, you fight the mandatories and the champs, period. All of this bullshit about not fighting teammates and all this other bullshit is just as bad as Mayweather and Pacquiao ducking each other

^^^ I have no real friends post. You expect people to fight their real friends/family for a paycheck? #cmonson. If you have any morals, that shit is taboo. You don't fight your close friends/family for entertainment purposes, or just because some fickle ass fans want you to.

I agree. I've boxed my best friend just fuckin around before. If you dunno how dumb it sounds think of it compared to another sport.

Ronde Barber "Ya, I look forward to playing the Giants, but I wont' tackle Tiki hard...I mean that's my brother"

Tikie Barber "I feel the same as Ronde. If I run towards him, I'll probably just slide or step outta bounds before I try to run through him...blood's thicker than water"

Rashad is crying, but to a certain extent, he's telling some truth here. Jones joined Jackson's camp only under the premises that he wouldn't fight Rashad, and Rashad pulled for him to get there. But then Jackson just pulled the rug out from under him the moment Bones had an opportunity at the belt. I definitely feel for him.

As for Bones, he was caught between a rock and a hard place. You can't turn down an opportunity for the belt, but at the same time, it just sucks that he has to take it from Rashad. Dana White probably did this shit on purpose too; we know how much he hates Jackson's camp and hates when his fighters say shit like they won't fight each other.

But that being said, I think outside of Silva, Rashad has the tools to beat JBJ. First off, his hand and foot speed is the quickest out of any opponent Bones faced. His endurance is much better than Jones as well. Most importantly, Rashad knows how to neutralize dangerous strikers by closing the gap. He beat Rampage by pinning him against the cage and making sure he didn't get off any punches. JBJ similarly is dangerous at long distance, but has yet to show a close distance game. I think if Rashad keeps the distance close, uses some in-fighting, and stays off his back, I can see him getting a decision.

Disagree. He's shown that he be lethal at all ranges. Up close, he has the spinning elbows, knees, clinches, and bizarre Russian Legsweep WWE moves. On the ground, he's constantly hitting with elbows, shoulders, chin, wrist, and even forearms. Rashad has fast hands, but I don't hype his stamina or footwork if Ancient Rampage was able to put him in danger. Machida showed what great footwork could do to Rashad.

On the flip side, I think there is something to be said for bitching like this. His anger seems more directed at the fact that he's had to dip on his longtime training camp because his boy moved him out the way. I don't think he gives a fuck to fight Jones, but I think he'd much rather fight him with Greg Jackson in his corner. If the roles were reversed and Jones trained in Denver, I guarantee Rashad wouldn't have shit to say but, "Well, this is the fight game." His confidence has taken a hit without GJ.

Damn you guys are hyping JBJ a little too much. He's not Silva. Evans definitely stands a chance against dude.

Jones has actually been more dominant lately than Silva. Take away the Griffin and Belfort fights, and the latter half of Silva's time in the UFC has been pretty lackluster. Jones on the other hand has dominated everyone he's face. Jones looks more like Silva did after first entering the UFC than Silva does.

Evans is sounding bitchmade right now. It's not even like Jones challenged him or said he'd whoop his ass. Jones was asked if he would face Evans if it came down to that after winning the championship. Jones basically said, he'd do that if Dana said he had to. Now Rashad is mad and using argument like "Dana would never tell you that you had to do that." Ok, that may be true, then it means that Jones' answer will never apply. The point is, he was answering the question from the standpoint of whether or not it would be a mandatory fight. So the fact that such a stipulation would never happen is irrelevant and certainly not worth bitching over.

What kills me is when cats like Rashad claim that someone was "like a brother" but then basically cut that person off over some little shit. Who does that?

thats the thing I dont get. Rashad left on his own. Jackson was never put in a position where he had to choice, but he has said in the past he would train Rashad over Jones cause Rashad was one of the OG of Jackson's camp. Why Evans so hot at Jackson? Is he upset cause Jones was brought into being with? Is he upset cause Jones said he couldnt avoid a fight with Evans if Dana forced? Is upset cause Diego fucked up his knee & title shot?

He's psyching himself up in my opinion. It's kind of like what 50 was doing a few years ago when he had a "problem" with every other artist in the world and would start beef to build a buzz or make a song. "Well, he knows how I feel about that camp, so to do a song with them is clearly an attack on me. I will not be attacked."

The only legitimate beef would be that working out under the same people would help/hinder gameplanning. The rest of this shit is nonsense.
