As far as bout to blow; Yelawolf rap too dam fast and his flow too unorthodox for the mainstream. That rapid flow doesn't work out too well for new artist. I don't even remember that last time a NEW RAPPER gained success from tounge twistin. Eminem's cosign doesn't guarentee success. Word to whats his face from Atlanta that was signed to shady. Young Dro on Memphis Bleek status right now. Nigga been one more hit away for dam near a decade now. Elzhi and Machine Gun Kelly? Come on mane, Not too many ppl really give a dam about them. Big Kritt and Kendrick Lamar the only two ppl I can see make an impact. ASAP Rocky a product of the swag era so it's no telling with him cuz ppl like shit like that nowadays. So it's hit or miss with him.

Having a hit is pointless if u don't have a strong catalogue to back it up...alot more people were checkin for Kush and OG after Black and Yellow came out and Wale's last album AD after his hits, it's just a matter of letting people know you exist.

Artists like YC and Cali Swag District had hits but their other tracks were wack which is why they didn't really blow up.
