Yeah its pretty bad. I remember seeing an article from '03 about the USAF Academy. It read that Of 659 women enrolled at the Academy at the time, 70 percent of the 579 women at the academy alleged they had been the victims of sexual harassment, of which 22 percent said they experienced "pressure for sexual favors.

And this isn't even Active Duty or reserves yet. Its the fucking academy.

There would be no reaction. As you can see the widespread sexual assault that presently occurs in the military is often hushed. If reports were to come out, they would be viewed as isolated incidents.
