I've been listening to niggas in Atlanta call the police "12" all my life, and I just recently found out it comes from a 70's cop show

We called them "12" because anybody under 18 had a midnight curfew. Anybody that looked near the age of 18 was harrassed by police, questioned and fucked with. They started that around the late 90s/early 2000s.

......called the pigs "12" on the IC once. A nigga on here swore I was talking about 12 pigs.
